i found the staff friendly. the room was clean and the bed comfortable. the location was perfect i saved money using their luggage storage i needed it for a late checkout. i enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the reception area with a drink.

The hotel's location was convenient, very close to Calton Hill. This made sightseeing easy! The room was also soundproofed well, a feature I appreciated. The service was prompt, and staff willingly accommodated luggage storage upon my early arrival. Breakfast included fresh pastries and high-quality cheeses.
The plumbing in my room made some noise during the night. Though, I understand old buildings often have these minor issues.
